Washington County has enacted a Fair Housing Ordinance making it illegal to discriminate on the basis of race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, age or handicap:

--  in the sale or rental or terms or condition for renting housing.

--  in advertising the sale or rental of housing.

-- in fnancing of housing.

-- in the provision of real estate brokerage service.

-- in the tactics of blockbusting.

Washington County will receive, investigate, and seek to conciliate complaints of housing discrimination. Fair and impartial hearings are assured and both administrative and appellant relief opportunities are provided.
