UF/IFAS Extension Washington County to Host Free Cool-Season Wildlife Food Plot Workshop in Chipley

WASHINGTON COUNTY, FLA. - UF/IFAS Extension Washington County will host an educational workshop, "Planning & Establishing Cool-Season Wildlife Food Plots," on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

Designed specifically for local hunter and land managers, the workshop offers practical guidance on establishing and improving food plots using cool-season annual forages to enhance overall wildlife habitat quality.

Event Details:

• Date: Tuesday, September 15, 2026
• Time: 5:45 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. CT (Formal presentation; Q&A session to follow)
• Location: Washington County Agricultural Center, 1424 Jackson Ave., Chipley, FL
