Northwest Florida Community Hospital Updated Vaccine Information

Chipley, FL, April 4, 2021, Northwest Florida Community Hospital has Moderna COVID-19 vaccines available by appointment only. NFCH will be administering first dose vaccines in the NFCH Specialty Center 1360 Brickyard Road, on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 10 AM – 1 PM with a scheduled appointment. To schedule an appointment call (850) 415-8162 and Kathryn will be happy to assist you.

At this time, COVID – 19 vaccinations are available to:

  • All individuals ages 18 and older will be eligible to receive any COVID-19 vaccine. Individuals ages 16 and older will be eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine. All individuals under the age of 18 receiving a vaccine must be accompanied by a guardian and complete the COVID-19 vaccine screening and consent form.
  • NFCH currently has the Moderna COVID -19 vaccine available- so we are only able to vaccinate those 18 years of age and older.

Northwest Florida Community’s Hospital Mission is to provide innovative, accessible, and comprehensive healthcare close to home. NFCH will provide the community access to immunizations as our vaccine supply allows. Second dose vaccinations are scheduled when you receive your first dose. Individuals who have tested positive for COVID – 19 should wait at least 10 days after symptom onset before receiving a COVID vaccine. Individuals should not have previously had any anaphylactic reaction to a vaccine. If an individual takes immunosuppressive medications please check with your healthcare provider prior to receiving the vaccine. Also, if you have received infusion therapy for COVID you must wait ninety days before receiving the vaccine. NFCH will bill your health insurance for vaccine administration- there will be no out of pocket expense to you.
