The Washington County TDC’s mission is to deliver a professional tourist development program for Washington County that provides for development and promotion of local sponsored events, participation in multi-county and regional tourist development activities, use of institutional advertising, a multi-media approach to advertising and promotional activities, with a focus on maximizing the economic development return on available revenues to ultimately increase bed tax revenues within the county.
